Isn’t this a heck of a question? Who is willing!? Shouldn’t we all be willing to destroy the evil parts of ourselves?
Another Man had a similar commentary on the war within ourselves:
And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

It is my belief that this is the center issue of every battle in the world, Spiritual Or Corporal. It is my belief that this is the central mission of a Christian.
Jesus and His Word are the blades which cleave the spirit. He is the only way to conquer evil in every heart, and it is in every heart.
Lord,
Help us to continue to follow You, so that we may see the true depths of the battle in our own hearts.
We know You are the only tool that can fully excise evil from a human heart. You bind in us that which otherwise tempts us into angry and harmful impulses.
What a glorious thing to have a God bigger than the worst parts of our own selves!
What a wonderful feeling to know that as You work in us we are cleansed completely and corrected constantly to protect us from our own terribleness.
