Dear Lord, I thank you so much for the unexpected time to spend with my husband and our daughter today. I thank you that you are letting us get really through Alice’s teething and that you once again kept us all safe through another day. It is wonderful that you helped Stephen get through his problem at work and I pray you continue to improve and inspire his work life. I thank you that our little girl is growing so fast and developing so well. Please, Lord, continue to bless her life and keep her safe and happy. That smile is one of the greatest blessings I have ever received. Lord, I thank you that you have given my daughter to my husband as well. I pray you allow me to spend the rest of my life privileged to watch them playing and laughing together with as much delight as I see between them today. We love you, Lord, and we lay our lives before you. Please guide us as you will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
